Welcome to Recombu.com, a UK-based site about mobile phones that offers independent news and reviews, an easy-to-use comparison tool and deals from all the major networks. Each section is colour coded so you know where you are at all times -- blue represents editorial content, green represents the comparison tool and orange represents deals.

We’ve put together a great team of people from very different backgrounds to make sure you get balanced information and opinions. We’re not just interested in our views about phones though, we want to know yours too. Feel free to leave comments on our news stories and if you click on a review you’ll see there’s an option to add a user review or discuss a phone.

If you’re still wondering where the name comes from, it’s a portmanteau of the words read, compare and buy [re-com-bu]. We aim to make the process of deciding what phone you want to buy and then buying it, a lot easier.
