Recombu Mobile Phone Deals

Finding the mobile phone you want is one thing; finding the best available deal is something else. Recombu's own customisable search tool allows you to easily search for the best contract going on all of the available handsets.

For contracts you use the sliders in the search tool to find, contracts based on how much you'd want to pay a month (from £10 a month up to any amount) and the minimum amount of minutes and texts (50 up to unlimited) you'd want. You can refine searches to include any or all of the mobile phone networks and search for contracts based on duration - from 1 month to 36 months or for any length of time. If you want to get a contract but only if the handset comes included for free, check the 'Free phones only' box in the top right.

If you're not decided on exactly what handset you want but you know that you want a specific make and want to spend a certain amount a month (e.g. you want a Nokia and to spend no more than £20 a month) then use the Filter Phones tool on the right hand side of the page. Here you can select the make of the phone and whether you want any additional features such a touchscreen, 3G whether it has a Qwerty keyboard or a memory card slot. You can even base your searches dependent on the colour of the phone. The recommended search results automatically refresh each time you change or alter your search criteria making it easy to find the right deal to go with the phone you want.

How we get our data

Recombu works independently of but closely with the UK's mobile phone networks and leading online mobile retailers. We receive contract prices and information from over 30 different companies and sift and amalgamate the data. This allows us to effectively aid the price comparison for our users. As different companies provide their data in different ways, we combine what we receive to show relevant results from a wide selection available from the mobile market. We are constantly refreshing and updating our information to provide our users with the most up-to-date comparison of the market.

Our close relationship with the mobile networks and online mobile phone retailers ensures that our information is as up to date and as accurate as possible.

How we rank results

At Recombu we rank our search results based upon a complex algorithm that takes into account the whole deal including elements such as monthly cost, any discounts, the contract length, minutes, texts and much more. We use the 'Recombu Rank' to order the results we show our users to show you the best deals available based upon your chosen search criteria.

As these search variables can be changed by the customer, our search algorithm changes accordingly. Whenever a change to any of the search criteria is made our deals engine automatically refreshes the page, saving the customer the bother of having to start the search again from scratch.
