How to get tickets for Thronecast, Sky’s live Game of Thrones chat show

With the new season of Game of Thrones fast approaching, Sky is now on the lookout for audience members for its watercooler chat catch-up show Thronecast.

The post-bloodshed analysis programe has traditionally followed each episode of Thrones on Sky Atlantic for a while now, giving fans exclusive cast and crew interviews and extra insight into the tangled storylines and character arcs.

This year, for the first time, Thronecast is to be filmed live in front of a studio audience. None other than Sue Perkins of Great British Bake Off fame will be hosting the chat show alongside former Thronecast lead presenter Jamie East.

If you want to get involved, you can head over to the Applause Store’s site now and pledge your fealty.

Tickets for the show are strictly limited and are selected at random. While they’re free of charge, you’ll have to make your own way over to Sky’s studios in Brentford. You’ll need to be aged 18 or older to attend and while it’s not clear if proof of age is required, it’s best to take some just in case.

At present, there’s only slots available for the debut hour long special that’s due to follow the first season 5 episode on April 13. Then there’s shows for the following two Mondays, April 20 and 27.

The world premiere of Game of Thrones season 5 is being hosted at the Tower of London on March 18. Sky is currently giving away 25 tickets to the invite-only event and you can enter now. Otherwise, you’ll be able to tune in to the action at home on Sky Atlantic or Now TV from April 13 onwards
