BT deals unlimited broadband for a fiver on Black Friday

BT is slashing the costs of its unlimited broadband and Infinity services in honour of an American tradition.

Despite Black Friday not actually being A Thing over here, BT is giving customers the opportunity to sign up for unlimited ADSL broadband for £5/month and unlimited FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) Infinity 1 for £10/month.

These services give you top download speeds of 17Mbps and 38Mbps along with limitless downloads unhindered by any traffic management

Online access to BT Sport is included free of charge with these deals and Sainsbury’s gift cards worth £50 and £100 respectively come included.

David McDonald, director of broadband, TV & sport bundles, BT Consumer, said: “Consumers can snap up a broadband bargain with our Black Friday Spectacular. We are offering some great savings on Unlimited BT Broadband and Infinity, offering a great broadband experience with the peace of mind that we will never slow you down.”

The deals are available from now until from now until December 1. Both services see you signing up for an 18 month contract. The discount is applied for 12 months, meaning you get savings of £60 and £156 respectively.

Normally, BT unlimited broadband and Unlimited BT Infinity 1 cost £10/month and £23/month each, on top of the regular rate of line rental, £16.99/month.

Weekend calls to UK landlines and BT Home Hub wireless routers are also included free of charge, although a small delivery charge of £6.95 applies if you choose to take the free hardware. If you don’t want a Home Hub 5 with the Infinity 1 deal, the router you intend to use will need to be VDSL-compatible.
