Plusnet to pump up broadband only, line rental and phone prices

Plusnet has taken a leaf out of TalkTalk’s book by announcing that it will increase broadband, line rental and phone costs in October.

Prices of the Value and Extra copper-based broadband and fibre broadband products will go up by an extra £1.50/month unless they’re taken alongside a Plusnet home phone package. Prices for bundled broadband services won’t increase.

The standard price of line rental will also go up to £14.99/month to £13.99/month. Customers who want to save a bit of extra cash by opting for the lump sum Line Rental Saver option can currently pay £131.88 for 12 months, equivalent to £10.99/month.
