Sky Go adds British Eurosport to live streaming channels: Smart TV Tuesday

Sky Go users will be able to watch the French Open, the Tour De France and Le Mans on their tablets, phones, PCs and games consoles with the arrival of British Eurosport on the service.

British Eurosport joins the current live channel roster of Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, and 4, Sky Sports F1, Sky Sports News and ESPN on Sky Go.

Eurosport on Sky Go

Unlike the Sky Sports channels, British Eurosport is available to Sky customers with the Sky Entertainment Extra pack – you don’t need a Sky Sports subscription.

Sky says that over a quarter of a million Sky customers recently used Sky Go to watch the Manchester City vs Manchester United FA Cup Final derby (although it was also on BBC iPlayer at the same time).

Sky Go is available to Sky TV customers in line with their subscriptions, while non-Sky TV customers can subscribe with monthly subscriptions priced from £15-£40.

Users can have up to two registered devices per subscription, which can be accessed via 3G, WiFi or fixed broadband, depending on the device.

Channels on computers include up to 40 live TV channels, including all six Sky Sports channels, Sky Movies, Sky News, Sky 1, Sky Atlantic, Sky Arts, MTV, Disney, G.O.LD, Nickelodeon, NatGeo, History, Eden and ESPN, supported by an extensive library of on-demand content.

In addition to PC, Mac and Xbox 360, compatible iOs mobile devices include the iPhone 3GS and above, iPad 1 and 2, and iPod touch fourth generation. Compatible Android handsets are the HTC Desire, HTC Desire S, HTC Desire HD, HTC Incredible S, HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation XE, Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Galaxy S2.
