Sky Sports Day Pass comes to Apple TV

Apple TV users in the UK can now access Now TV’s Sky Sports Day Pass, allowing them to watch all six Sky Sports channels through the device.

For £9.99 a day (we know) the Sky Sports Day Pass from Now TV gives fans with Apple TV instant access on their TV to enjoy live sports for 24 hours.

The pass activates immediately upon purchase and is billed directly to their iTunes account, offering the flexibility to watch live world-class sporting events across all six Sky Sports channels without a contract.

Read Recombu Digital’s guide to Now TVGidon Katz, Director of Now TV, said: “It’s been a busy year for Now TV as we continue to widen access to our top-quality content by launching on popular platforms our customers use. The Now TV Sky Sports Day Pass is perfect for sports fans with Apple TV who want the flexibility to choose which live events they want to watch from the comfort of their sofa.”

Upcoming sporting highlights include the remainder of The Ashes series live from Australia, top matches from the Barclays Premier League, UEFA Champions League knockout stages, Capital One Cup and Sky Bet Football League, Rugby Union’s Heineken Cup, the World Darts Championship, NFL Super Bowl XLVIII, plus much, much more.

Sky launched its Now TV service in July 2012.  The service only offered movies at first. Sports were added earlier this year in March with entertainment channels.
