TalkTalk has added the UK’s number one Asian TV network to its YouView TV service with a package of four Star TV channels.
The £5 monthly deal adds Hindi-language entertainment from Star Plus, Star Gold’s catalogue of Bollywood and family soaps, drama serials on Star Jalsha, and Star Life OK for reality and comedy shows.
Headline shows include Amrit Manthan and Mahadev on Star Life OK, Veera and Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain on Star Plus, and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara on Star Gold.
Read more about TalkTalk TV on YouViewTalkTalk’s executive commercial director, Tristia Clarke, wrote: “After extensive customer feedback told us that Star TV, the UK’s number one Asian Network, was the most requested content our customers wanted to see on TalkTalk TV we knew we had to respond with the launch of our new Star TV Boost.
“We’ve also got lots more international content and channels coming so do keep tuned.”
Star Plus is also joining the existing Entertainment Boost, alongside Sky 1, Sky Living and Comedy Central.
As with all of the packages on TalkTalk TV, there’s no subscription so the boost will be automatically renewed every month but can be cancelled at any time.
