Toy Story characters return to feature in Sky Fibre Broadband ad

Woody, Buzz and friends from Toy Story are to appear in a new advert that promtes Sky’s superfast fibre broadband service as well as an all-new Toy Story OF TERROR! special.

The 30-minute cartoon premieres on Sky Movies Disney next month.

In the advert, Woody, Buzz and the other characters are seen having trouble getting online as their current broadband can’t cope with all the toys using the internet.

The famous three-eyed aliens arrive to save the day with Sky Fibre Broadband.

The TV special itself has the Toy Story characters going on a road trip that takes a turn for the worse when one character goes missing.

As for the fibre broadband product, prices start from £10 per month for six months plus telephone line rental. After the initial period, the service doubles to £20 per month. The service is uncapped, offering unlimited downloads.

Lyssa McGowan, director of Sky Broadband, said:  “Sky has been the UK’s fastest-growing home broadband provider ever since we launched in 2006. Just as we saw an opportunity then to give UK consumers a fresh new choice, the launch of our £10 unlimited fibre broadband service is a response to consumers who want superfast speeds, but are put off by high prices charged by other providers.”

“Sky Fibre gives millions of families an affordable way of enjoying totally unlimited fibre broadband, and we’re delighted to support it with this funny and beautifully-crafted new campaign.”
