We are all waiting with baited breath for Samsung's next instalment to its Galaxy smartphone range and information on a benchmark reveals a dual-core phone being readied.
Data found on the NenaMark benchmarking website, a handset with model number SCH-I535 is listed as sporting Qualcomm's 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor.
According the Droid Life this model number has been linked to the Samsung's Galaxy S3 on Verizon, and other stats on the benchmark also correlate to the smartphone, including 1280x720 screen resolution and Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
The downgrade from quad-core to dual-core makes the smartphone compatible with 4G networks and we saw the same change in HTC's One X handset to match it up with the US market.
We should find out if this rumour is true in the not too distant future – we'll keep you updated.
