More Cha Cha news; after spotting the FaceBook phone on Three’s site yesterday, Carphone Warehouse has the phone available for pre-order, and it’ll be free on a £20 per month contract for 24 months. They expect they’ll be able to deliver the Cha Cha at the start of June- that’s under a fortnight away.
At the moment, choice is limited to the Orange network, and the £20 bundle will net you 200 minutes’ talk-time and 250MB of data per month.
The HTC ChaCha, one of HTC’s two FaceBook phones, has its own dedicated FaceBook button, alongside deeply integrated FaceBook features to connect your phone to your social network profile, including FaceBook’s chat widget.
With both a capacitive touch-screen and a Qwerty keyboard, you’ll have a choice of input methods and there’s both rear and front-facing cameras. The phone’s body has a slightly curved profile to fit your face when chatting.
