Alongside the Beats Audio-driven Sensation XL, Three has announced that it’ll be selling the HTC Explorer.
The HTC Explorer is a super-mini Android phone with a 3-megapixel camera, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and HTC Sense 3.5. You get the same clock and apps widget built in here as you do on the HTC Rhyme, but a slightly different layout.
It’s got a 3.2-inch screen and a 600MHz CPU, so not the hugest or fastest by any stretch; it’s aimed at the younger end of the market or at those who want an inexpensive touchscreen phone.
The HTC Explorer will be coming to Three on £15 a month contracts, or if you fancy some unlimited, all-you-can-eat dataz for your internets, you can sign up for the HTC Explorer on a £27 The One Plan contract as well.
For those who want to buy the Explorer outright on Three, you can snap one up for £129.99. £15 a month will net you that all-important all-you-can-eat data, 300 minutes and 3,000 texts.
Despite its small size and specs, HTC says that the Explorer ought to run most of the apps available in the Android Market.
