Motorola users are still waiting on the latest version of Android - Ice Cream Sandwich to wing its way to their devices. But Motorola Japan has released some videos demonstrating Ice Cream Sandwich on the Motorola RAZR.
The current trend for manufacturers is that May/June is the time to bring out the upgrades, with reports of devices across the board leaving only crumbs of Gingerbread in the wake of ICS (unless you’re talking about the Xperia PLAY).
Slashgear has hand-picked a series of videos from a number of Motorola’s sites which contain demos of both key interface enhancements and features like the new camera application. Firstly we can see that Motorola’s version of ICS will indeed feature the same application and widget tray that showcased on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus for the OS’s debut.
The main UI improvement comes with the lockscreen, which now allows for better quick-access of the device’s primary features. New native logos and icons, and camera improvements too.
