All kinds of iPad-based musical shenanigans have been going on since its launch in April, and now Damon Albarn and his Gorillaz cohorts have been using it to record an entire album.
Working on the new album while on tour with the Gorillaz, Albarn told the NME, "I've made it on an iPad - I hope I'll be making the first record on an iPad. I fell in love with my iPad as soon as I got it so I've made a completely different kind of record."
That's right folks, he really really loves his iPad. No surprise there, since Gorillaz have already released the excellent Plastic Beach iPad and iPhone app.
Damo hopes the as yet untitled album will be out by Christmas, at which point we hope he'll name-check a few of the apps used to record the thing.
