Some in the wild pictures of the mysterious Samsung Galaxy slider set to arrive in the US have arrived, courtesy of those serial leakers at BGR, maintaining that this is a US version of the Samsung Galaxy S2.
Version is a bit of a stretch; it looks to be a completely redesigned phone, alongside a slide-out keyboard, and button redesign on the front, the plastic texture back seen in these photos reminding us of the mid-range Samsung Galaxy Ace.
Officially toting the device number SGH-I927, (that SG stands for Samsung Galaxy, as we suspected) the phone is confirmed to be running Android Gingerbread, whilst some benchmark testing on the phone reveals there’s probably a dual-core processor whirring behind that slide-out keyboard.
The Galaxy S2 hasn’t yet arrive in the US, while the phone continues to shatter Samsung’s smartphone sales records, with rumours suggesting around six million of the dual-core superphones already sold.
Now you have to consider if the keyboard is enough for you to wait and see if it arrives in the UK, or to wait for the Galaxy R to see a release here. (Probably the more likely of the two.) Or, you could just stump up the cash for the "original" Galaxy S2 now. Decisions, decisions.
