Sim-free pricing has emerged for the big-screen Android smartphone from Panasonic - the Panasonic ELUGA Power.

Announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Panasonic ELUGA Power has a 5-inch screen with an HD resolution and is a slim 9.6mm deep. It will run Android 4.0: Ice Cream Sandwich.

Online retailer Clove has just revelated it's pricing. The Panasonic ELUGA Power is available on pre-order for £478 - including VAT. There’s no exact news on the launch date, beyond it being: ‘Due to launch late April.’

It’s the second smartphone from Panasonic following the Panasonic ELUGA, which we got some hands-on photos with here, and with this Panasonic has clearly seen the huge success Samsung has had with the Samsung Galaxy S2
