Samsung has announced the new “Samsung Level”, a range of ‘premium audio products’ including headphones, earphones and a bluetooth speaker.
Samsung has launched the “Level” series which consists of four new products: (left to right) the Level Over headphones, Level On headphones, Level In earphones, and the Level Box Bluetooth speaker.
JK Shin, CEP and Head of IT and Mobile Communication at Samsung, said, “With the Level series, we have crafted an incredible line of audio products designed for the mobile user with organic sound, premium design aesthetics, and optimised mobile audio controls.”
According to Samsung, Level Over uses hybrid type active noise cancellation which picks up sounds from the outside to block out.
It also uses 50mm dynamic drivers which allow users to enjoy a more natural sound. There is also an accompanying app called Samsung Level which will allow users to control the audio effects and EQ.
Level On is very similar to Level In, in how both headsets provide on-the-go natural and clear sound, according to Samsung.
Level Box, meanwhile, can quickly connect to phones through NFC and its 56mm stereo speakers promise to offer powerful and crisp sound. Samsung says that, through the rechargeable battery, Level Box can provide 15 hours of continuous playback. If it actually delivers that much without the audio being compromised, then that’s pretty impressive, we’ll wait to see how it fares in our Bluetooth speaker round-up before passing judgement.
The Level series will be available to buy in mid-May in most markets, but there is no mention on pricing yet. However, by the word ‘premium’, we can assume these products won’t be cheap.
