Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc coming to Three this April

We were wowed by that crisp screen at its unveiling at CES, and now Three have said that they’ll selling the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc this April.

No details yet on pricing, (it was spotted, sim-free, on Play for £449.99) and Three were unable to confirm an exact release- Play are saying it’s “due for release” on April 1st. That’s a mere two months away.

When out, the Xperia Arc will join an elite group of phones powered by Google’s latest OS, Gingerbread, which includes lovely 3D maps (in some places) and all the other Google goodies we’ve come to expect on Android.

Looks-wise, the phone’s eye-catching profile slims down to a mere 8.7mm, with an expansive 4.2-inch touchscreen that’s boasting Sony’s Mobile Bravia Engine (like their big TV range). You can even pump out HD videos and content from the phone to your TV via the HDMI port. All that, and it should still weigh in at under 120g.

No coming soon page yet on Three’s site, but we’ve spotted it on O2.
You can watch Three mobile bigging up the phone in this video below. We do like the look of that screen.
