The Xperia L is one of two new Android smartphones announced by Sony Mobile, it’s a mid-range phone offering advanced camera features

Running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, with a 4.3-inch FWVGA screen, in common with the newly confirmed Sony Xperia SP, the Xperia L is available in white, red and black.

The 8-megapixel camera includes Sony’s Exmor RS for mobile sensor, which is typically found on pricier models, along with HDR mode to help reveal shadow and highlight detail in still photographs and video. The shutter captures photographs in a second from a locked screen, check out the video below to find out more.

UK retailers Expansys has just revealed it will be selling the Xperia L from late April for £239.99 SIM-free.
