Orange Mobile Phones

Orange provides one of the leading mobile networks in the UK and has a range of contract, PAYG, SIM only and mobile broadband which have continually proved popular with customers. In 2010 Orange and T-Mobile combined to create Everything Everywhere, becoming the UK’s largest mobile network operator. As of 2012 the companies still operate separately, with T-Mobile and Orange stores and websites, customers can now benefit from 3G signal sharing, which was finalised in 2012.

Orange has several different tariffs named after animals, and the variation allows customers to find the price plan genuinely suited to their habits.

Incentives like Orange Wednesday; which offers 2-for-1 cinema tickets or pizza and Orange Film-To-Go, which provides a a free film every Thursday have helped Orange retain a loyal customer base.

Orange smartphones

Aside from providing a network, Orange has its own line of successful PAYG and Pay Monthly smartphones, manufactured by companies like ZTE and Huawei, with Orange-specific apps and features. Orange is fond of naming its smartphones after famous cities, including Barcelona, Stockholm and San Francisco, the latter was hugely popular, providing advanced Android smartphone features at an affordable phone.

The phones fare well as affordable, functional handsets, with features that will prove useful. The basics are present, but each model has its own distinct design and capability. Some Orange smartphones carry hard-keys, which many still prefer despite the emergence of touchscreen as the popular choice for customers. The reliability of a QWERTY hard-key pad means that this design choice still has plenty of fans.

Orange deals

Orange deals are mainly focused on network offers, so you can get loads of different contract, PAYG and SIM only deals using Orange on a handset of your choice. You can also look for deals on Orange-manufactured handsets, and compare the offers to find the best one. Look out for incentives with the Orange network, such as Orange Wednesday and Magic Numbers, as these improve the value.
