Customisable covers are all the rage at teh moment, and O2 have joined in asking custoemrs to choose which cover to include with their forthcoming entry level Android smartphone, Alcatel’s OT990.
O2 will be selling the phone exclusively.
With a respectable 3.5-inch capacitive touch-screen, a five-megapixel camera, and Android 2.2 (Froyo), there’s plenty of bang for your buck.
You can cast your vote on O2’s Facebook page, where there’s a choice of six different covers. The one that gets the most votes will get bundled with the phone on release.
We’re currently testing Vodafone’s own customisable offering, the Smart, where you can (for a price) get your own designs printed on the cover.
Competitively priced Android phones are a big trend at teh moment. Were looking forward to seeing how they all compare to pricier offerings.
