Opera Mini 5 beta comes to Windows Mobile

By Thomas Newton on Thursday, 4th March 2010

Opera Mini 5 beta, the latest version of the world's most popular mobile web browser, has just been launched for Windows Mobile phones. This version of Opera Mini is Java-free meaning that it'll work on any phone running Windows Mobile 5 or 6.

This is cool for a number of reasons. Not only does Opera Mini 5 beta feature tabbed browsing and a nifty 'Speed Dial' feature allowing you to quickly access bookmarked sites, it's fast and very data-efficient - very useful if you're on a per-MB data plan.

Opera Mini 5 beta is currently available on a wide range of phones. There are versions for BlackBerry, Symbian and a version for iPhone has been announced.

You can download Opera Mini directly to your Windows Mobile phone for free here http://m.opera.com/next/ or read more online at http://www.opera.com/mini/next/.
