Samsung C6625: Getting down to business

By Editorial Team on Tuesday, 30th June 2009

The C6625 is a BlackBerry-esque workhorse of a phone. One glance at the C6625's Spartan-like stats suggests it's aimed at businesses looking to equip their workers with a cost-effective but reliable handset. It's not flash, it's not expensive, but it gets the job done.

This solid-looking phone runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard and supports Microsoft Exchange and Office documents. A large four-row Qwerty pad sits slightly squashed underneath navigation keys and a 2.6-inch display. There's a 2-megapixel camera (no flash) on the back and a memory slot which holds microSD cards of up to 8GB -- handy if you receive hundreds of emails a week and don't have time to delete all of them.

There's been no word on cost or availability yet, but with phones such as the BlackBerry Curve 8900 and the Nokia E71 available on £25 contracts from Vodafone, we'd be surprised if the Samsung C6625 went for anything higher than that.
