Samsung i8910 HD arrives on Orange

Fruit is amazing. Apples come with touchscreens and now there's even an HD Orange. The Samsung i8910 HD, also known as the Samsung Omnia HD, is available to buy now online and in the high street from Orange. The powerful multimedia touchscreen tablet boasts a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen, an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and fast internet capabilities.
AMOLED displays are capable of displaying a greater range of colours and much sharper images than the typical LCD displays found in most phones. Pictures taken on the 8 megapixel camera will most likely look stunning and films downloaded from the recently launched Samsung Movies online store won't look half bad either.
The external speakers of the i8910 HD feature virtual 5.1 Dolby surround sound, making this phone the perfect mobile movie watching handset. If listening to music on the go is more your thing then it's worth knowing that the i8910 HD supports virtually every file format under the sun, and comes with 8GB of internal memory.
A microSD card slot is also included on the i8910 HD, but there's no word yet on what size cards the phone can handle, although the official stats on the Samsung site suggest that you can take the storage capacity of the i8910 HD up to 16GB with an 8GB card.
The Samsung i8910 HD is available on Orange now, and costs £97.50 on a new Dolphin 18 month contract. This gives you 1200 minutes and unlimited texts. When bought in store the contract works out at £44.04 per month, and just £39.14 per month if bought on line.
