The battery cover is an oft neglected aspect of a phone. A mobile could be an all singing all dancing smartphone, but can come blighted with a god awful back cover which just lets the whole thing down. Just look at the N96 - great phone with some amazing features, but that thin plastic back cover is pretty damn awful.
We've taken a brief look at some of the best looking and feeling battery covers encompassing a wide selection of phones.
We decided to only include a couple of high end fashion phones in this list, otherwise it'd just become a top ten of fashion phone battery covers, by 'Vertu' of the fact that they're all good looking. Anyway, without further ado…

The Bold's warm leatherette battery covering blends practical functionality with a suggestion of luxury. The imitation cow skin cover not only makes the phone easier to grip, but is rather fetching to the touch as well.

This middle of the road everyman's phone actually boasts a rather nice back cover - a nice stainless steel sheet that neatly clicks into place. The action of absently thumbing the metal plate off of the phone and then putting it back on again is strangely satisfying.
3. Motorola AURA
