Video Camera"The GPS works really well with Nokia’s own Maps service, making the 5800 a decent phone for finding your way around."

£70 Auto Cashback"I find the battery life to be excellent and the 3.2 megapixel camera takes good pictures, although they always look crappy on the phone I was pleasantly surprised at the quality when I uploaded them to my PC. I don\'t find it very intuitive, I find trying to add address locations on the maps feature to be counter intuitive to the point of being frustrating, oh and it loves sub menu\'s, so many sub menu\'s so many options to navigate. If you are a lazy sod like me then you won\'t get the most from this phone. If you like features that take a degree of effort to find and use then you are onto a winner. Seems quite solidly constructed too."

"Good:
Takes good pictures in daylight.
Runs Java and S60 apps so there\'s literally millions.
Built in aGPS works well on recent software updates.
Free sat-nav for life with Nokia maps.
Good music player and other music features like music store & podcasting.
Familiar Nokia UI.
Wi-Fi and 3.5G.
Good call quality and reasonably loud speakerhone. Bad:
Resistive screen isn\'t the most responsive and don\'t even consider comparing the visual quality to an iPhone.
Some apps won\'t work due to the lack of a hardware keyboard.
Struggles with memory capacity.
Built in browser takes some getting used to and crashes occasionally when java/ECMA scripts are enabled.
Low light camera performance is quite poor with short flash range. Overall:
You can\'t expect iPhone performance for less than half the price but considered on it\'s own merits the 5800 is a good phone. The touchscreen interface can be frustrating at times but patience and practice are rewarded with a great music phone that also does a very good job of navigation too. Keep the firmware up to date and an eye on the memory status and it performs well. (Ramblow and Memory Up help here!)"

"Sounds like some of the comments have been added by Three themselves as I would most definitely not describe this phone as awesome!"

"Billed as the 'Messiah' and better than an iphone!!! You're having a laugh. My old Samsung can start up and send a text before you can navigate to the 5800 page to send texts. Relies too heavily on the enclosed pointer to use. Great for kids who download music but for adult mobile dinosaurs it is totally inpractical."

"After reading rave reports I was persuaded to buy one. What a let down! Too difficult to use for quick texts etc. Battery life poor. Have gone back to my Samsung D500 - miles better!"
