The Nokia 6301 is successor to the extremely popular 6300. The most notable change is the addition of Wi-Fi, allowing you to browse the web in Wi-Fi hot spots. Other changes are more cosmetic, such as the keypad's gold colour backlight and the dark grey plastic details instead of the glossy black ones on the Nokia 6300. Other than that, it's very similar to its predecessor - a 2-megapixel camera with an 8x digital zoom (still no flash) microSD card slot and support for all of the major audio file formats.

Nokia 6301 User Reviews
"The Nokia 6301 is a very good phone but has some flaws which are not really a big deal compared to all the goods about the phone. The Nokia 6301 has support to many things and has a lot of features (look at the specifications) which will come in need later on. It has support for .jar games as well and can play 3d java games(not all of them but some)! The screen, hats off compared to other phones the screen is amazing. The phone also has a wide variety of customization options like themes and such. It also has a music player and the earphones that come with the phone are not that bad. The phone also comes with a stand for the charger. Lastly, the speaker on the nokia is loud, and I mean loud for its size atleast. :P Those are only some of the goods. The bads of the phone are very minimal. Some bad parts of the phone are the battery life, the over heating problem and the camera. The camera is only good in daylight and the camera has no flash. Overall, the Nokia 6301 is a great starter phone for people who are looking for a phone to start of with."
"I personally hate the Nokia 6301 because it doesn't have camera flash and it has a meagre 2 megapixel camera. It has a poor battery life and it looks like one of the older Nokias. The good things about it are its music player and its WiFi compatibility. I would only recommend this phone to people who haven't had a phone before or to those who need a spare phone."
