"The 16GB edition of Samsung's Omnia has a lot going for it but is let down by Windows Mobile, which makes parts of the phone clunky to use."

Samsung Omnia i900 User Reviews

"Very good phone!Don't have it yet but yeah lol!"

"Had the phone for only 2months before I sold it! key lock unlocks all time and then rings people or wipes programs! The keypad is pain to get into and to put key lock on you have to go through three screens! Battery life appalling had to charge every evening. 3G didnt work at all so had to rely on gprs which is slower. Photos good, video good lot of work to get used to to be honest would recommend shopping about as similar phones around and better features."

"It's all well and good I guess all these different things the phone can do but I find it pretty heavy to carry around and none of that stuffs any use to me. Whatever, it didn't cost me anything I was quite happy with a phone that just makes calls and doesn't feel like you're carrying around a gold bar in your pocket."

"Brilliant phone I reckon but there are quite a few similar ones around so check them all out I should say before you buy one. Definitely a big improvement over my other phone that I use for jobs. Hopefully the boss will get some new ones in as they're starting to look pretty old fashioned."

"Phones. I mean they're yesterday's news right? Who gets excited about a new phone these days? It's for calling your friends and sending them texts when they don't switch on. I mean what else do you want the thing for? It's got way too many functions for me but the kids like it so that's something."

"Korean technology is always cutting edge and this phone is no exception. Good ease of use, logical layout, funky design and a systems package that is toward the top of its class. I reckon I'll keep this phone for years, it seems to do so much. Once you've got a handle on what the designers were thinking this is a really user-friendly machine."

"My mate got one a couple of weeks ago. Paid good money for it too. I saw it cheaper and thought it might annoy him if I got it and told him about the savings I'd made. Didn't really want it but I'm impressed with its functions. Kind of space age looking and dead cool even though my mate's got one but we don't hang out that often and people think my phone choice is well original."

"I had my phone half-inched the other day, it was one of those old Nokia bricks. I thought it sophisticated when I got it, it had a built in alarm clock. This phone is the biz. I think it makes tea but I haven't found that function. To be honest I haven't found most of the functions but it does have an alarm clock and you can make calls with it and that satisfies my immediate needs."

"The perfect phone for me. GPS and the ability to pull up maps sold this to me. I can get lost in my bathroom. Makes quite a difference from the old days of Ordnance Survey maps, scratched compasses and difficult to manage conversations on the mountainside. With this phone you settle your differences of opinion about your location in a very equitable manner. Probably not the only phone to offer this service but it works a treat."

"I tell you I had a Samsung years ago it was my first mobile and it looks like they've stepped things up since then. Seems amazing that was only less than ten years ago and its like moving from a horse drawn cart to a helicopter. Looks cool, sounds good, takes pretty great pictures. I don't even understand half the functions on it I just make calls and take the odd photo really, but I will definitely get into the other features as I get to know the phone a bit better."

"Seems to fit loads into a really small package. I've stopped using my digital camera now, it only has 5 megapixels same as the phone so I can't really tell the difference between the photos. Its really easy to get photos onto your computer, I was pretty surprised because I'm not really that good when it comes to technical stuff. So yeah I'd recommend the phone although I haven't really used iPhone or N95 or anything like that. I still wouldn't watch films and stuff on this as the screen is a bit too small but I wouldn't want a bigger thing to carry around so I guess that's the tradeoff. They're not cheap though, I'd say, but none of these type of phones are that cheap. Maybe the price will come down but I guess its not bad for what you get."
