BT’s new drama channel AMC from BT will serve up recent classics like Breaking Bad next to the UK premiere of Ryan Gosling-starring Only God Forgives.
The new channel, launches this Friday, August 28 on BT TV and Sky TV, and is bringing a strong line up of UK premieres and classic titles to the table.
As well as Only God Forgives, which lands on August 29 at 11:00 pm, AMC from BT will broadcast The Beaver, starring Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson, on September 15 at 7:00 pm and Shelter starring Julianne Moore and Jonathan Rhys Meyers on September 17 at 11:00 pm.
AMC from BT will also show popular titles including Clerks, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Babel and Dreamgirls.
Alongside UK movie firsts, AMC from BT will also broadcast UK premieres of original series Cleaners on September 5, 11:30pm, all eight seasons of crime drama Weeds and two seasons of Manhattan. As part of the deal with AMC, BT will also broadcast all of Breaking Bad and Mad Men, both of which have fairly recently finished their respective runs on Spike TV and Sky Atlantic.

The first episode of AMC from BT’s flagship signing, Fear the Walking Dead, will air on Monday, August 31 at 9:00pm. This will be followed by Rectify, another BT exclusive, on Tuesday, September 1.
AMC from BT is available to all BT TV and Sky TV customers with the BT Sport pack.
