Virgin TV Anywhere has added ITV, ITV2, ITV3 and ITV4 to its line-up of live streaming channels.
This means programmes including Coronation Street and The Jeremy Kyle Show can be watched live online either through desktop browsers or on iPhone and iPad.
The cloud-based service that lets Virgin Media TV customers watch live TV on the go has also added HISTORY, H2 and Bio channels to the mix along with CI (Crime & Investigation).

Scott Kewley, Virgin Media’s multiscreen product director, said: “The latest channels to join Virgin TV Anywhere are brimming with top soaps, documentaries and comedy and follow hot on the heels of the 21 channels we added to the service in April. With an ever-expanding array of programmes available that cater for every taste, customers will never be stuck for something to watch, catching their favourite shows and discovering new ones in ways not offered on rival platforms.”
Back in April, Virgin Media added live channels for Channel 4, MTV and SyFy amongst others. Virgin TV Anywhere now provides access to a combined total of 75 channels, both live and on-demand.
The idea is that Virgin TV Anywhere acts as a digital mirror of your TV subscription, letting you watch your favourite shows when you’re not at home.
Virgin Media customers can watch online on desktops or, if they’re TiVo punters, on their iPhones and iPads. The Android version of the Virgin TV Anywhere app is still in the pipeline and is due to come out later this year.
