Kids on-demand service Hopster hops on to Samsung Smart TVs

Samsung Smart TV owners can now access Hopster, an ad-free children’s on-demand service.

Arriving just in time for the Christmas holidays, Hopster serves up a wide range of kids content including Paddington Bear, Bob the Builder, Pingu and more.

Already live on Freesat, EE TV and iOS, the service is the first and only on-demand app in the UK to be fully rated U by the BBFC.

Nick Walters, Hopster’s CEO and founder, added: “Our mission at Hopster is to make screen time better for kids – and the TV is still the number one screen in most family homes. Working with Samsung is fantastic as it allows us to bring even more families in the UK a better experience: completely ad-free TV, with only the best shows on demand, and comprehensively U-rated.”

As well as being rated totally safe for kids, Hopster’s team has sought advice from academics at the University of Edinburgh and University of London, Birkbeck to make sure all content easily accessible and has an educational angle.

Hopster costs £3.99/month and gives families unlimited access to hundreds of episodes of family favourites. Hopster can be downloaded on Samsung Smart TVs now through the Smart Hub menu.
