Now TV Entertainment Monthly Pass launches: Sky 1 and Sky Atlantic pass for £4.99 a month

Sky entertainment channels including Sky 1 and Sky Atlantic are coming to Now TV for the introductory rate of £4.99/month. 

The new Entertainment Month Pass lets you access content from ten top subscription TV channels including shows like American Horror Story (FOX) Karl Pilkington: The Moaning of Life (Sky 1) and The Tunnel (Sky Atlantic). 

On top of this, the Now TV Entertainment Pass will let you get stuck in to box sets of hit shows like Game of Thrones, Mad Men and The Wire

Gidon Katz, Director of Now TV, says: “Millions of people can now go online to watch some of the best entertainment channels, including Sky 1, Sky Atlantic and Comedy Central. 

"Now TV offers pay-as-you-go access to brand new episodes of home-grown British shows and the biggest and best US series for anyone with broadband.”

The Entertainment Pass provides access to shows from Sky 1, Sky Atlantic, Sky Living, Sky Arts 1, Discovery, MTV, Comedy Central, GOLD, Disney and FOX. 

The Sky owned on-demand service which currently streams Sky Movies and Sky Sports content allows anyone with an Internet connection to enjoy premium Sky content. 

Recently, the standard price for Sky Movies dropped from £15/month to £8.99/month. Sky Sports access costs £9.99 for a 24 hour day pass

The Entertainment Pass will cost £4.99/month until March 2014. As it’s an introductory rate we can expect it to go up, but there’s no word yet on by how much it’ll increase. 

The Now TV Entertainment Month Pass is available from today on Windows and Mac desktops and laptops, PS3, Xbox 360 and selected iOS and Android devices. Roku streamers, including Now TV’s own Now TV box, and LG smart TVs and connected media devices can also access Now TV. Now TV subscribers can register up to four devices at any time. It's not yet available on YouView as is the case with Sky Sports.
