Samsung links up with Mubi to bring curated movies to smart TVs and Blu-ray players

Viewers will be able to watch movies on the Mubi video on-demand service on Samsung smart TVs and Blu-ray players.

The Mubi smart TV App is a subscription service that brings viewers a curated collection of 30 films. The service is updated daily.

Samsung will be able to browse the line-up displayed in a magazine format.

For £2.99 per month, subscribers have unlimited streaming of films, including Hunger, Slumdog Millionaire, The Fifth Element, and The Virgin Suicides.

Guy Kinnell, head of TV and AV at Samsung Electronics UK and Ireland, said: “The addition of Mubi to the Samsung Smart Hub not only strengthens our film offering but provides our customers with even more variety, choice and entertainment for their viewing.”
