Sexy 'Really Blue' Google Pixel and Pixel XL phone coming to UK: Price and release date info

Google is finally bringing the Really Blue Pixel and Pixel XL phone to the UK, giving well-off mobile fans a super-colourful design option. Here's the full UK price and release date info for the Really Blue Google Pixel and Pixel XL handsets.

Described by Google as 'bold, bright and blue', the Really Blue model of the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphone is finally being released in the UK after launching over in the US originally.

What is the Google Pixel and Pixel XL?

The Google Pixel phone and its bigger brother, the Pixel XL, are Google's latest own-brand smartphones. These premium-priced handsets are serious rivals to Apple's iPhones, offering the new Nougat version of Android plus Google's own Assistant AI, all wrapped in a sexy metal and glass frame.

What is the Really Blue Pixel and Pixel XL?

Kind of what it says on the tin. The Really Blue version is a Marmite-style love-it-or-hate-it vibrantly coloured model, which really, really stands out in a crowd. Personally we're enticed by that rich paint job, while others think it looks like a bag of sick.

Originally the Really Blue Pixel and Pixel XL could only be picked up in the US. But after a few months of longing, this colourful handset is coming to the UK via the EE network.

Rachael Roberts, Industrial Designer at Google, said: “Launching just in time for London Fashion Week, Pixel “Really Blue” is the bold and youthful sibling to the Quite Black and Very Silver colours. Our goal for Pixel was to create a simple and smart design in a beautifully crafted case and we hope “Really Blue” will appeal to the fun and stylish fashionistas among us.”
