Russian 4G Android smartphone appears to have front-and-back screens

We don't know quite what to make of this YouTube video, which shows Russian president Dmitry Medvedev handling a new 4G handset. Our Russian isn't quite good enough to understand what's being said in the video.

However, it looks like it has two screens - one on the front and one on the back. Although the one on the back is more of an e-book-esque monochrome variety, judging from the clip. The YouTube description mentions Android too.

The handset is the work of government-funded company Russian Technologies, and is currently in prototype form. The final version could be on sale in May 2011, according to Russian-news site NewsBCM. It would run on local operator Yota's LTE network.

Watch the video below and see what you make of it.
