Wileyfox Spark vs Spark+ vs Spark X: Specs compared

British smartphone brand Wileyfox has just launched three new mobiles, the Wileyfox Spark, Wileyfox Spark+ and Wileyfox Spark X. What are the new Wileyfox Spark phone specs, and what’s the difference? Here’s all you need to know.

Following last year’s Wileyfox Swift and Wileyfox Storm, British mobile firm Wileyfox has launched three new phones here in the UK for 2016. The Wileyfox Spark, a 5-inch Cyanogen handset that boasts dual 8-megapixel cameras and a 720p HD screen for just £90, is the first new Wileyfox phone. But Wileyfox has also launched the Spark+ and Spark X, which sport different specs and features.

Wileyfox Spark, Spark+ and Spark X specs compared

As you can see, the Wileyfox Spark+ is basically a slightly more advanced version of the Wileyfox Spark. While the size and screen resolution remain the same, the Spark+ packs an extra gig of RAM for smoother performance as well as double the storage. You also have a 13-megapixel rear camera on the Spark+, compared with the Spark’s 8-megapixel camera.

The Wileyfox Spark X is a bigger version of the Wileyfox Spark+. The specs are almost identical, except that the Spark X is a 5.5-inch version of the Spark+ (although screen resolution remains the same). The battery has also increased in the Spark X to 3000mAh from 2200mAh.

Wileyfox Spark, Spark+ and Spark X UK price and release date

The Wileyfox Spark will be released in the UK for £89.99, and Europe for €119. The Wileyfox Spark+ will cost £114.99 here in the UK and €149 in Europe, while the Wileyfox Spark X has a UK price tag of £129.99 and a European cost of €169.

The Wileyfox Spark can be pre-ordered from today, with deliveries due in two weeks. The Wileyfox Spark+ enters pre-registration today, with deliveries due in four weeks. And the Wileyfox Spark X enters pre-registration today also, with deliveries due in five weeks.
