Mix Walkman and Txt Pro phones revealed by Sony Ericsson

Although photos of these phones earlier this year alongside one of Sony Ericsson’s Facebook promotions, their names have now been confirmed as the Mix Walkman and Txt Pro.

Sony Ericsson’s Mix Walkman is unsurprisingly a music-focused phone, with an awkwardly named Zappa feature allowing you to preview tracks by listening to the chorus before play.

There’s also an interesting Karaoke mode, where the phone will fade out the song vocals for you to shout along to. The Mix Walkman is also customisable, with several coloured edgings available.

The Sony Ericsson Txt Pro is all about social networking, with a full Qwerty slide out keyboard, and matches the Mix Walkman’s three-inch touch-screen. There are apps for Facebook and Twitter inside the phone, and you can add your five best friends and connect their profiles together.

Both phones will get the four corner shortcuts first seen on the Xperia Mini and Mini Pro, and are set for a UK release date in the third quarter.
