Gear4 SmartDock: iPhone alarm clock dock with app
Considering Gear4 makes accessories we were interested to see that it's moving into apps. Today we managed to grab a quick picture of Gear4's latest device - an iPod/iPhone alarm clock. The dock is supposed to be used with a free Gear4-made iPhone radio app (pictured right) which allows you to search through stations using the iPhone's touchscreen and pause and rewind what you're listening too. It's a clever idea for Gear4 to move into the app space as many people use their iPhones and iPod Touches as alarm clocks. Gear4 told us that the dock would be available this year but no word on pricing yet. Below is a picture of the banner that showed off the SmartDock's specs.
