HTC Legend: Our favourite HTC phone to date

HTC’s latest devices are beautiful but the HTC Legend is our personal favourite. The Legend features a metal casing that reminds us of the aluminium MacBook and it runs Android 2.1 with an updated version of the Sense user interface.

All of HTC’s new Android phones run the updated Sense interface, which lets you add any contact from any group to the people widget on the home screen but most importantly includes something called ‘leap’ – you pinch in and view of all your home screens.

In addition to an updated Sense interface, HTC has created a new widget called “friend stream”, which combines Twitter, Facebook and Flickr into an easy-to-view stream. You can use friend stream to reply to messages in Facebook and Twitter.

Specs-wise the Legend boasts a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen, optical joystick, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 5-megapixel camera with LED photo light and runs on 7227 ARM 600Mhz processor. According to HTC, the HTC Legend will be available in April on Vodafone.
