Citroen C1 Urban Ride is a Vauxhall Adam Rocks rival

Following in the footsteps of the Vauxhall’s chunky Adam Rocks is the Citroen C1 Urban Ride, a 4×4 version of the supermini that wants to go where no C1 has been before.

The Citroen C1 Urban Ride has a 10mm wider track than the standard C1 and has various plastic bits here and there to protect it from the rugged outdoors. Ground clearance has been increased by 15mm so you can drive over taller objects and there are now LED running lights.

Two versions will be on show, a vanilla five-door hard-top and one with a folding fabric roof known as the C1 Airscape. It is unclear what engines will be used to power the C1 Urban Ride, although it would be strange to ignore the standard C1’s 1.0- and 1.2-litre offerings.

The lime green concept is merely a concept at this stage, but an Auto Express report says Citroen will be letting visitors at the Paris Motor Show accelerate the process by making their thoughts known.

Other cars to be unveiled in Paris include the Citroen C4 Cactus Airflow Hybrid Air concept 2L, Vauxhall Adam S, Peugeot Quartz and the Toyota C-HR. Stay tuned for all the coverage.
