BT Sport coming to Sky TV and Plusnet customers from November 5

Plusnet broadband customers with Sky TV will be able to get the BT Sport channels for less from November 5 onwards.

As we reported earlier this month, the channels will be offered at virtually half the usual price if you were to order BT Sport 1, 2 and ESPN and their HD counterparts through Sky TV without taking BT Broadband.

BT Sport on Sky normally costs £12/month or £15/month with the HD channels if not taken with BT Broadband, in which case the SD channels are free and the high definition channels are an extra £3/month.

There’s no set up fee and the contract is available on a rolling basis, meaning you can enjoy BT Sport for as long as you want.

Details of the deal were unearthed a couple of weeks ago but now we’ve got an official launch date.

Nick Rawlings, Commercial and Marketing Director at Plusnet said, “We’re really proud to be able to offer this exciting new sporting content to our loyal, existing customers.

“We believe this is a very attractive deal for customers who want to view top sports action such as the Barclays Premier League and Aviva Premiership Rugby, especially given the exciting line-up of December football fixtures BT Sport has recently announced.”

Plusnet customers who sign up after November 5 will be able to catch Everton taking on Liverpool on Saturday November 23 and Tottenham Hotspur’s clash with Manchester United the following weekend.

As well as this, there’s the upcoming Skrill conference games over Christmas to look forwards to as well as West Ham v Arsenal and Manchester City v Liverpool at 5.30PM on Boxing Day.
