Watch Game of Thrones season 5 for free with Vodafone’s 4G Now TV deal

Vodafone is offering 4G Pay Monthly customers free access to Now TV’s entertainment channels for the duration of their contracts.

In other words, if you sign up for a 12 month Red L, XL or XXL plan now, you’ll be able to stream every episode of the upcoming season of Game of Thrones once it arrives on Now TV.

If you sign up at the right time and get a 24 month contract you would in theory be able to watch the sixth season of the hit fantasy show, already greenlit by makers HBO, for no extra cost too.

Vodafone is expanding its freebies
Game of Phones: Vodafone offers up to two years or free Now TV with select 4G contracts

Because the Now TV mobile apps are also compatible with Chromecast, you can also watch Games of Thrones along with other Sky TV shows including The Flash, The Walking Dead and Futurama on your TV as well as on your phone. Vodafone is still offering 4G customers a £5 discount on Chromecasts, so you can stream Now TV in your living room for less

On top of this, Vodafone punters who sign up before Christmas Eve will also be able to get a free Now TV Sky Movies pass for three months as well. This will give Vodafone customers access to over 800 movies a month, including recent hits Jobs and American Hustle

Gidon Katz, Director of Now TV said: “We’re thrilled that Vodafone Red 4G customers will be able to watch anything from The Wolf of Wall Street to Lost through Now TV. It’s great news for those who enjoy TV on the go on their mobile or tablet, or who want to curl up and catch must-see TV as the nights draw in.”

As the Vodafone Data Test Drive also gives you unlimited 4G data for three months, you’ll also be able to stream movies on the go without worrying about straying into expensive out of bundle charges.

The Entertainment and Movies passes normally cost £6.99/month and £9.99/month each.

Pay Monthly customers will get the Now TV Entertainment Pass at no extra cost for the full length of their contract as part of 4G Red L, XL or XXL plans.

Customers who opt for the cheaper Red 4G will be able to get Now TV Entertainment free, but only for six months. A six month Entertainment Pass will also be available for PAYG (pay as you go) customers who choose £30 or £40 Red Freedom top ups.

PAYG customers can also get three months of free movies if they spend £40 or more with £20 and over Freedom top-ups.

The arrival of Now TV adds to Vodafone’s offers of free Netflix, Spotify or Sky Sports Mobile. The offer of getting two services for the price of one is sadly now over. This would have seen canny customers able to sign up for free Sky entertainment TV as well as movies and live premier league football.

Vodafone announced Netflix would be available as a freebie on its 4G Red deals in September.
