Netflix nabs Goosebumps and The Magic School Bus with Scholastic deal

Netflix has done a deal with Scholastic bringing titles like Goosebumps and The Magic School Bus to subscribers screens. 

These two titles are exclusive to Netflix and the deal sees all episodes from the first four seasons of each show available to watch on demand. 

Just in time for the back to school season rears its head Netflix customers will be able to fill their boots with TV shows based on other books from the Scholastic range. Titles include Harry the Dirty Dog, Danny and the Dinosaur, Chrysanthemum, The Snowy Day and The Mouse and The Motorcycle, and movies such as The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Stories

As well as securing and funding popular TV content for grown ups, such as the last episodes of Breaking Bad and Orange Is The New Black, Netflix and its chief rival Lovefilm have been battling for the eyeballs of younger viewers too. 

While junior Netflixers can enjoy as much Disney and Marvel action they can handle, little Lovefilmers can thrill to the exploits of Curious George, the Teletubbies and eventually Lovefilm originals like Sara Solves It

Netflix has also recently launched user profiles which give parents greater control over what their children can see. 

Netflix is available on a number of devices and platforms including PC, Mac, iOS, Android, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Wii U.
