Plusnet will be increasing the cost of both its standard Line Rental and Line Rental Saver service next week.
Currently, the basic rate of line rental is £12.99/month and the line rental saver deal sees you paying £113.88 up front, which breaks down to £9.49/month.
Both rates will be going up by £1/month, so that’s £13.99/month for the standard rate or £125.88 up front, which works out at £10.49/month. The Plusnet Line Rental Saver option is only available online.
Plusnet isn’t the only ISP that’s announced line rental increases. BT is freezing its Line Rental Saver option (£13.00/month) for all of 2013, but has increased its standard rate to £15.40/month.
Sky has increased line rental for customers who joined before the 1st of September, up from £12.25/month to £14.50/month. TalkTalk, like BT, has frozen the cost of its Saver option (£9.50/month) but has added a small increase of 45p to it’s standard price – from £14.50/month to £14.95/month.
