Virgin TV customers get Dave, Gold and all UKTV channels on demand

Virgin Media’s on-demand collection has expanded with the arrival of content from all of the UK TV channels. 

Box sets of programmes including David Attenborough’s Natural Curiosities, Crackanory and Dave Gorman’s Modern Life is Goodish can now be accessed from Virgin Media’s on-demand vaults, which includes content from BBC Worldwide, Sky 1, MTV, National Geographic and others. 

Programmes features in all ten of the UK TV channels – that’s Dave, Watch, Alibi, Gold, Drama, Eden, Good Food, Home, Really and Yesterday – can now be watched live.

Stephane David, Executive Director of Content at Virgin Media said, “Around a fifth of all the TV our customers watch is at a time that suits them. 

“People want control and choice over what to watch and when and we are giving them that. We have led the development of on demand TV in the UK and now, with the addition of hundreds of great UKTV programmes, offer more entertainment than ever before.” 

Catch-up content from the last seven days can also be watched at home and on the go through Virgin’s mobile service TV Anywhere. 

TV Anywhere, available on more than 30 mobile devices, recently added Channel 4+1, More 4+1 and 4Seven to its line up. 

All of the UKTV channels are available live and on demand with the Virgin TV M+ package (from £19/month) TV L (£26.50/month) and TV XL (£31/month). 

Sky TV customers can enjoy catch up content from Dave, Gold, Alibi and Watch but currently can’t get on demand content from any of the other UKTV channels. YouView customers and by extension BT TV and TalkTalk TV customers can only get catch-up content from Dave, Really, Yesterday and Quest
