Acer beTouch E210: Android 2.2 phone with a Qwerty

This is the Acer beTouch E210. It’s a mid-range Android phone that runs on 2.2/Froyo, sports a full Qwerty keypad and has a 2.6-inch touchscreen.

Like the Nokia Touch and Type phones, this mixed format of should prove a hit with those who want to browse the web with a touchscreen, but prefer to hammer out emails and Facebook messages on physical keys.

Speaking of which, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity suggest that the beTouch E210 won’t be a slouch when it comes to checking emails and social networks. There’s also GPS, so it can comfortably double as a sat nav device with Google Maps and you can take some simple pics with the 3.2-megapixel camera.

As it runs on Froyo you’ll be able to do some pretty cool things like Wi-Fi/USB tethering with the beTouch E210 as well.

The Acer the E210 will be available to buy in the UK from March this year, prices and network availability TBA.
