Vodafone has confirmed it will be stocking RIM’s latest smartphone, the Bold 9780, however it will be part of the company’s business line-up.
“We’ll be bringing the Bold 9790 into our enterprise range, alongside existing devices like the Bold 9900 , Curve 9360 and Torch 9860. We don’t plan to offer it as part of our broader consumer smartphone line-up.”
The network joins O2 who has confirmed it will be stocking the Bold 9790 and Curve 9380.
RIM announced the Bold 9790 earlier this week, it’s positioned as a slightly cheaper alternative to the Bold 9900, with a 1Ghz instead of 1.2GHz processor, smaller 2.45-inches screen and a narrower design, although it runs the latest version of RIM’s operating system Blackberry 7 OS.
We had some hands-on time with the Bold 9790, Other features include a 5-megapixel camera, 720p HD movie capture, NFC and 8GB storage.
