BlackBerry Bold 9900 sneaks onto eBay UK, sells for £900

Following swiftly on the heels of news that both the black and white BlackBerry Bold 9900 are set to come to the UK in the next few months, a seller on eBay UK listed a device apparently straight from BlackBerry HQ in Canada.

CrackBerry fans will be gutted to hear that it’s already gone, sold for its buy-it-now price of a whopping £900, with an additional £20 delivery cross. It’s not known just yet now the mysterious seller got his hands on the device, or whether it’s legitimate, but someone out there seems to think it is.

According to Amazon, the SIM-free model of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is penned for a 15th September delivery date, though from past experience we’d expect a little flucuation with this date.

The eBay seller lists all the big features for the forthcoming thinnest ever BlackBerry, which includes its1.2GHz processor, also making it the fastest BB that RIM has made to date. It also arrive running the very latest version of BlackBerry software, BlackBerry OS 7, as well as an NFC chip for contactless payment and the like.
