HTC makes millions- spends some of them on a party, and you’re invited

HTC  have seen profits rocket , with the Taiwanese-based company posted first quarter profits of around $511 million, and it is said to be due to strong sales in its Android phones.

They have now leapfrogged over beleaguered phone giant Nokia. HTC manufacture many of the top-selling high and mid-range Android smartphones, such as the Desire HD, Desire, Wildfire and Hero, and what better way than to celebrate their success with you, their loyal customers.

HTC are throwing a London soiree next week, and you, anonymous reader, are invited.

The party is on Tuesday 12 April, and will follow their announcements at next week’s press event (heavily rumoured to be the HTC Sensation) and you can check on all the details on the HTC UK Facebook page. RSVP  by clicking on “I’m attending” at the top of the page.

Some simple Ts and Cs, it’s for people over 18 and it’s on a first come first served basis.

There’ll be music, drink and nibbles, and there’s the chance that some lucky attendees will get a free phone too.

Free phones, music, food and drink- pretty good for a Tuesday night.
