LG G Pro 2 goes official in Korea with upgraded features and new photos modes

LG has announced the follow-up to the G Pro: behold the LG G Pro 2. It boasts 120FPS HD video recording, slow-motion editing and a choice of different flashes and focuses when taking a photo.

The LG G Pro 2 lives! It boasts a 5.9-inch Full HD display and high-power 1W Hi-Fi sound thats 30 per cent louder than the original G Pro. This means it delivers much clearer and more powerful sound. It also has 120FPS HD video recording and slow-motion editing, as well as a range of different flashes and focuses to choose from when you take a picture, along the lines of the iPhone 5S.

The Magic Focus is where you have the option to select your preferred depth of focus before you save the photo, but after you’ve taken it. There’s also a Natural Flash, which offers a more balanced colour temperature and exposure compared to a normal flash. This is what makes the photo appear more ‘natural’. There’s even a Flash for Selfie feature, which adds a bright white background for a softer lighting when you’re taking a photo of yourself and friends.

The Burst Shot feature takes up to 20 continuous shots and then automatically edits them to create a video of all the captured shots you just took. The Gallery Collage, meanwhile, allows you to select photos from your gallery and create a collage which makes it much easier to upload onto your Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Upgraded features include the Content Lock, which is a much more secure way of locking files, photos, and videos with your own password. There’s also Mini View which allows you to shrink the display, with sizes ranging from 3.4 inches to 4.7 inches. The Dual Browser, meanwhile, divides the screen into two separate browser windows for more convenient browsing.

There currently isn’t any information on pricing and availability of the LG G Pro 2 as it’s only in Korea for the moment, but we’ll let you know once it is released. Like the sound of it so far? Then let us know by dropping a comment below.
